Ye Olde Yellow Cabaret VII Recap
The seventh Ye Olde Yellow Cabaret just wrapped up and it was yet another successful event.
As per tradition all guests to the event were “becatted” by the Airship Passepartout door crew: Mike, Sabrina, Gintia & Me (Sir Ernest). We brought out the Mega Jenga once again and had posters available from all seven Yellow Cabarets plus Airship Passepartout pins! Just over 150 people attended the final Yellow Cabaret of the year which again was another unique event.
Once again Tara & Erin were running the bar with three pre-mixed favorites, plus red & white wine and a selection of beers on tap including several from local micro-breweries.
We once again had the ceiling cam in action capturing all of the indoor entertainers. In addition we had several great photographers in attendance who captured all of the amazing performances including: Richard Brown, Rob Badger, Miss Mystic & Michael Kilbourne. Full list of photo sets & videos at bottom of page.
Vendors
The vendors room was once again filled with many favorite craftspeople plus a few new faces: Bree Orlock, Sew Late at Night, Sylvan Creations, Rose & Gear, Marianne C. Jackson, Starlight Masks, Studio de Sade, Mike Stocks Leatherwork. Outside enjoying the lovely night were: Free Pirates for Hire, Jessica Spangler Digital Art and this event’s foodtruck The Wicked ‘Wich of Dayton!
The Skeletones
The Skeletones returned for their second showing at YC after just over a year. Their creepy version of Rockabilly, known as shockabilly, was enhanced by their makeup & outfits. Wait that was makeup right?
