Recently, we made another trip to Paris. Dr. Gintia needed to make some deliveries and Sir Ernest was undertaking some negotiations on her behalf regarding a plant she was developing that… well, that’s probably proprietary information now. Never mind.
So while we were there, Ivy was very excited to visit some dressmakers’ shops and see them work. And Penelope had some professional development. Yes, our chef took a short term job in disguise in a cordon bleu kitchen and learned every recipe she could. We are eating deliciously this month! And if anyone with a French accent happens to ask you about any recipe books you’ve seen lying around, please remember that the only one you’ve ever seen aboard is the Fanny Farmer Cook Book.
In other news, Felix denies having had a rendezvous in a confessional booth in Notre Dame Cathedral which certainly didn’t lead to a daring escape across the flying buttresses.
